Fully Offline mode for CAM (PRIVACY)

That is not OFFLINE mode, GUEST mode shouldn't be broadcasting. Please resolve it.
The log I have has over 10,000 intrusion attempts made by CAM alone. I will not unblock the software as it absolutely does not need network access to your servers.
The issue is not solved or completed as you claim it to be.

Amazing how NZXT closes relevant issues that invade consumer privacy... NZXT does nothing to resolve it.
If you live in the United States file a complaint here:
1. File a report with the Better Business Bureau (BBB)
BBB ... even though the BBB has no 'legal' authority over NZXT they will make sure issues are resolved and help the consumer. The more negative reports against NZXT the better! This will help the FTC, and your state attorney general to file formal charges against NZXT.

To file a report with the attorney general in your state just go to your states website (eg: 'yourstate'.gov) and look for a complaint form. All states will allow you to file a complaint against a business, especially when that business is practicing illegal actives such as NZXT!
It is clear that NZXT is attempting to gag... suppress it's customers from speaking out about serious issues and completely ignoring them due to the fact that NZXT believes they have the right to gather personal and confidential information about their customers.... which they clearly do not have any such right.

These guys are stupid. They close issues that are not resolved and they have legal obligation to fix issues. They clearly sit at their office and laugh at their customer. I hope someone go to their office and show them whats up, then we see who laugh. They invade peoples privacy and break laws.

I've now cancelled the installation and will not be using the software. I can only assume/hope that many thousands of others will do the same.
So, let me start by saying that I am an all time top 15 member at Tom's Hardware, as well as having some other undisclosed affiliations with that site. So, I can assure you that I have the unique ability to reach a LOT of people. Enthusiasts, gamers, system builders, overclockers AND potentially have an inside track to editorial staff although I am NOT currently on that side of the fence in any official capacity.
Primarily a hell of a lot of people are going to hear what I have to say and if you think I'm bullshitting just Google Tom's Hardware Darkbreeze and then rethink that idea.
Again, this is not any kind of official position from there, this is merely a personal mission to figure out the why, when and how of WTF is going on with the serious lack of any real effort on the part of NZXT to either address the issues with CAM or let it's user base know why they can't be addressed.
At this point I can assure you of one thing, I will ABSOLUTELY be recommending that all users who ask, of which we get hundreds of thousands per month, who in turn are likely to spread by work of mouth those recommendations to further hundreds of thousands, that NZXT products using the CAM software be avoided permanently until and unless such a time comes as they take the development, advancement, improvement and correction of current and long term problems seriously enough to do something about it even if that means firing their entire dev team and hiring somebody who is actual capable and qualified to fix this fucking mess.
Since before version 3.3.2, which by the way was provided to me as a beta version over a year ago by NZXT staffer Eric Lam, this utility has been seriously broken. In NO succeeding version has there EVER been a scenario where ALL previous bugs had been addressed and corrected. EVER. In addition to which, succeeding versions have increasingly broken OTHER things, with no end to the list of things that fail to work not only as hoped for, but even as well as could be minimally expected for a piece of software which is required in order for the hardware to work correctly.
It's shameful, disgraceful, unprofessional and most of all it shows a complete lack of consideration from NZXT whatsoever for it's user base, which I suspect will be rapidly shrinking once the idea that NZXT products rely on a completely broken backbone starts fully making the rounds, and it will, I assure you.
Users fully understand that development takes time. They also fully understand that shit happens. Stuff breaks. A piece of code that fixes one thing can have an adverse affect on something else. Users are not so stupid that they can't grasp these concepts. The problem lies in the fact that NO attempt is actually made to address the concerns of the user base, not really. Only token fixes and sideways changes.
Privacy has been spelled out in giant letters for you. Thousands and thousands of users, on the majority of top forums such as Tom's hardware, Reddit, HardOCP, TechSpot, TechPowerUP and more have raised their voices in demand of a repeal of the information gathering that your software does, and yet, you continue to do it.
It's one thing when Amazon or other peripheral entities do this without user knowledge, because you have a choice in whether or not you continue to give them your business. With CAM however, practically NONE of the user base is aware of these issues until AFTER they purchase the hardware and find out they are stuck with a broken utility and the worst possible feedback/support system of ANY major hardware manufacturer.
All of which fails to even address the other, functional issues, like fan profiles that don't work or refuse to allow changes, lighting profiles that work when and how they want to. I don't think I need to list ALL the issues in this area, because you are already well aware of them based on the feedback that has been posted here by increasingly frustrated customers.
Maybe the biggest problem of all is the lack of information and transparency. You can't be as big as you are, and continue to fail to respond in any meaningful manner to the thousands of voices that have joined in crying foul towards your policies.
It doesn't take a lot of initial action to create a steamroller that will grow into something that I guarantee you don't want to see. Bigger companies than you have been completely destroyed by an inability to see the much larger picture, or by failing to adequately reach out to their customers in a way that was both prompt and reassuring, and meaningful, but actually addressing those concerns.
It is time to put up or shut up.
Wow, just the fact that all these posts exist on the companies website shows that they do not care 1 bit about their customer. They try to make the post look like its been resolved by posting some non related patch that was released. And these patches are released on dropbox....really.....what enterprise company does that? These almost seems like an April Fools joke that got way out of hand. Is this even a real company?
Well if people do not complain about that they will relax and close this request so we have to continue to vote and push for true privacy here and we have to do the same with other companies.
It seems every company just takes any data they want nowadays. There is no such thing as privacy on the internet anymore...

I will go offline also and if they dont fix the issue shortly I will uninstall cam and go to a different fan controller solution

@Eric - The patch today (3.3.5) is NOT addressing this idea. Not even close! Offline means OFFLINE ! No a single communication to NZXT Servers!
Reduction is not removal Eric, I'll still be completely blocking CAM. I guess the good thing is now the firewall logs won't fill up as fast. CAM data feeds the BLD site and you will never stop as shown by your own graph on the blog that shows FPS overlay data in online mode in the new version still uploads 12MB (a paltry 37% reduction) of data every 6 hours. Your own CEO has said in a Polygon interview that's what CAM is for, to collect data for BLD so there's no talking you're way out of what you do with the data, you're collecting it for profit not for "research" or "optimization."
