Hello Exalerion, I have emailed you several times trying to schedule a call with one of our devs but have not received any reply.

AdminMax Nzxt (Admin, CAM ) commented  ·

Hi Exalerion, thank you for getting back to us. We are currently preparing a hotfix that will be published this friday 07/20/2018 which will take care of the hardware detection, Fan Curve temperature, Settings not saving or lost, and languages not displaying correctly issues. Once it comes out, please see if this solves your detection issues.

Hello Exalerion, this is the response the devs gave me. Please try it and let me know if it works so I can have them proceed to fix it.

Please instruct the user to do the following:

      1. Delete the file. {Installed Path}/NZXT/CAM/CAMSettings.sqlite
      2. Login with guest mode

The reason we want him to delete the local setting file and login with guest mode is that we suspect his local and cloud settings could be corrupted, so if he deletes the local file, CAM will regenerate a copy of the default settings. Since CAM will download the cloud settings whenever the user logs in, we will need him to login with guest to prevent cloud downloading.

If he can detect Hue+ and Grid+ by the steps above, then tell us what's his account and host name and we'll go ahead to delete his cloud settings as well.

      thank you.

Anonymous, please try it as well.

Hello Exalerion, yes, I received your email and forwarded it to the devs as well. However, in your email you do not mention which CAM peripherals you have installed either. Please let us know so we can take this into account while performing tests and try to recreate the issues you are experiencing.

      Thanks.

Hi, the devs are asking me which devices you have that are not being detected.

AdminMax Nzxt (Admin, CAM ) commented  ·

Thanks, I will pass this information to our devs and see if they can find where the issue stands.

AdminMax Nzxt (Admin, CAM ) commented  ·

Please send it to maximo.castro[at]nzxt.com. Thanks

Hello Caiden, sorry for the issues you are currently experiencing. Here are the solutions provided to me from our development team at the moment:

Please try each fan individually and see if any of them are defective. Exit out of CAM, then unplug all the fans from the HUE+. Then plug one fan into the HUE+, and start CAM. Check and see if the fan appears in CAM and the LEDs can be controlled. Repeat this for all the fans. If the fans are the issue, please contact our support team over at https://www.nzxt.com/customer-support to look for replacement fans. Please state how many fans you have that is defective.

Also try using a different connection cable to connect the fans to the HUE+. The connection cable can sometimes cause issues as well. If the fan connection cable is the issue, please contact our support team over at https://www.nzxt.com/customer-support

The overlay requires DirectX Runtime to be installed.
Please install DX Runtime and then restart your PC and see if the overlay works. The link below will take you to the download site for the installer.
            https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35

Also make sure that you have tried manually enabling the overlay with the short keys (Shift + O). These shortcut keys can be changed from settings in CAM as well.

If the instructions above does not work please let us know which games the overlay is not working on.

Also, some games have an anti-cheat mechanism which can sometimes conflict with the CAM FPS overlay. We are currently working to fix this issue with many companies, but it is a process which takes some time and communication between the developer and NZXT.

We are sorry to hear this, as I mentioned in the last part of my response, some games have an anti-cheat mechanism which can sometimes conflict with the CAM FPS overlay. We are currently working to fix this issue with many companies, but it is a process which takes some time and communication between the developer and NZXT.

Sorry for any inconveniences this may be causing you.

Hi there, please perform a clean install of CAM
Uninstall CAM completely from your PC and restart when prompted.
              Then perform a clean boot.
To perform a clean boot, type “msconfig” in the start search and hit enter. Then select the “Services” tab and check “Hide all Microsoft Services”. Then click on “Disable all”. After, click “Apply/OK” and restart your PC.
              Then reinstall CAM from https://camwebapp.com/
              Restart when prompted
Let me know if this helps. Thanks!
If not please send us your error logs C:\Program Files (x86)\NZXT\CAM\Logs
And a list of your PC specs

Hello everybody, please be aware that some games have an anti-cheat mechanism which can sometimes conflict with the CAM FPS overlay. We are currently working to fix this issue with many companies, but it is a process which takes some time and communication between the developer and NZXT. Thank you for informing us of the games with which it is not working. We are continuing to work with this issue.
