Hello, I was asked by the devs to ask you to upgrade to 3.7.0 which is the latest update, by downloading from here: http://camwebapp.com/download/, and see if this fixes the issue.
Concerning the Fan turning off after CAM opens,
- Does it actually turn off or just run slow?
- What setting do you currently have active?
- Could you provide a screenshot of the software’s cooling tab?
Well I wish i had that error, instead I cannot even detect my x62 in Windows 10 since 3.7.0 not to mention 50% of the times in POST my BIOS says I dont have a CPU fan and I need to open my case to unplug and plug the USB cord again into the pump unit...
Good afternoon, please update to 3.6.5 and let us know if the minimization is still not working. Thanks.
I can also confirm both things Mike described are happening on this side EVEN AFTER 3.6.3. Amazing how they can't seem to dish out a properly working piece of software. They either fix new stuff and break old ones or the other way around.
A new version of CAM has been released (version 3.6.0) where several of the currently known bugs have been taken care of. Please go to https://camwebapp.com/download to download it and verify if this fixes the issues you are experiencing.
Before installing, please fully uninstall the previous version of CAM, then delete the folder from C drive >> Program Files >> NTXT, and restart the computer before installing this one.
If your issues continue to occur, please inform us. Thank you, and sorry for the inconveniences.
Not to mention the fact that sometimes my Kraken X62 is not even detected and I'm forced into going to "Device Manager" and disable and enable the USB and then go back to CAM and hit "detect devices".Awful software...
Hi, if you have updated to 3.6.6 and are still having issues with your hardware or software, please open a new ticket and provide us with your logs so we can review what is happening.
Please try to be as descriptive as possible concerning what you consider to be working incorrectly, by specifying what hardware you have and what it is not doing which it should be doing.
This helps us greatly while trying to replicate the errors to verify why they are happening.
Completely right. It's crashing my PC randomly. I can only solve with a hard reset. Shame
Hello, please try the latest update, version 3.6.6. We have made many improvements with that version and it is working better for many of our customers. If this issue continues to happen to you after updating, let us know so we can get in touch with you directly and figure out why. Sorry for the previous inconveniences, and thank you for your help.
I am also having the same problem as OP. Usually it freezes mostly when opening videos (whether on my PC or internet). And I have a beefy BEEFY PC. No freezes when gaming (heavy games). Wierd. I will test disabling CAM and check if I have more freezes. Already stopped HDD monitoring but freezes still occur. Ive now disabled FPS overlay and "start with windows".
I was almost formating my PC before finding this thread!! Such a shame this software is riddled with bugs
Infact, I cannot remember the last time this app worked with WoW..lol. Why?
Hi there, please be sure you are on the latest version of CAM from camwebapp.com. The most current version is 3.5.3
The overlay requires DirectX Runtime to be installed.
Please install DX Runtime and then restart your PC and see if the overlay works. The link below will take you to the download site for the installer.
Also make sure that you have tried manually enabling the overlay with the short keys (Shift + O). These shortcut keys can be changed from settings in CAM as well.
If the instructions above does not work please let us know which games the overlay is not working on.
World of Warcraft not working, Destiny 2 not working.
Im on latest version and still no fix in the horizon.
PLUS, the CAM software seems broken as I cant start it since last update of Asus Suite 3
The CAM overlay is not working with World of warcraft (latest version of CAM)djhifi supported this idea ·
