This is an excellent suggestion! What you are saying is that we allow users to create a “smart” profile depending on whether the CPU or GPU or both is getting hot. Don’t be surprised to see this feature soon.

So.... 3 and a half years later and still nothing.
I won't be holding my breath.

So how long does this need to be under review for?
It's an essential fundamental requirement that is still missing as at 8th October 2017
With the rad front mounted CAM has exclusive control over bringing cool air into the case.
Because of this it is imperative that CAM can spin those fans in response to temp increases of anything in the case, not just the CPU.
This idea has been posted a number of times, by a number of users and in many cases an admin replies saying it's a great idea.
Well how about some action guys?
The code is simple, i could write it for a micro to run.

All you need is a checkbox for each temp to respond to []CPU []MB []GPU1 []GPU2 and whichever of those has a higher temp can have it's fan curve honored.

Instead you guys have grossly bloated out CAM into an eyesore full of stupid features and useless functions.

I think you need to start again, make do one thing, and do it well.

If you're not going to do it right then open it up for we can code our own solution.

Won't be buying any more hardware because of how poor your software and support is.
Sitting there, saying nice idea and doing nothing is not support.

Back again 14 months since my OP.

I've hated CAM for a long long time, alas am stuck with it as it is the only means to control the pump speed in my X-61.
If it weren't for that i'd just set the pump at 80% speed and let the motherboard headers handle the rad fans.

So i'm stuck with it until i fork out for a non NZXT product (and trust me, i'll be avoiding NZXT forever after).
I've continuously run into issues as have many other over the last couple of years over what really should be straight forward control software.

    The data mining
    The crashing
The failing to start (and thus failing to properly cool if you don't notice it)
The botched updates and now 2 new issues today.

CAM had a file locked that EVGA Precision X needed access to in order to install.
All i want cam to do is run my pump, not poke around with the rest of my system.

    2) CAM had opened a thumb drive that i wanted to format.
In order to format it i had to close CAM. Why is this happening? Leave my thumb drives alone!

    This is crazy.
All i want is to run the pump on my x61.
I never asked for the rest of this rubbish.

I'll be looking to hardware hack the unit to run the pump at a fixed speed soon and ditch CAM forever.
If anyone is interested i'll post my findings.

We are looking into bringing back the quick controls to lighting and cooling on the dashboard. It’ll replace the HDD section. What do you guys think?

I've been using CAM for around 12 months now and continue to be amazed at how many junk features are added whilst serious and useful functionality remain lacking.
I asked for a feature similar to the OP's request of "Ability to control a fan with a CPU curve and a GPU curve"
I have my rad and 2x140mm fans in front of case to draw in cool fresh air.
Granted maybe not a common setup, i see many others use exhaust case air for rads.
    Build this mental picture.
CAM/x61 controls 2x140mm front rad/intake fans depending on CPU temp.
I launch an app that loads up GPU, but not CPU.
GPU gets hot, gets no additional air because CAM is not considering the GPU's airflow requirements, just the needs of the CPU.
I have posted about this several times in several places and it is an important and clearly sensible request, yet 12 months later, plenty of bells and whistles added to CAM, but the important stuff still overlooked.
This is how you upset customers and turn them away from your brand in future.
If anyone needs a visual reference...
