Fan speed issue
I experienced a very annoying ( and maybe for the fans harmfull) issue with the CAM preview: When playing a game, CAM randomly (just seems like that) detects CPU temperature increase by 10-20 °C and speeds up the fans to 80-100% for some seconds. Then it goes back to normal temperature and fan speed - and repeats it every 30 seconds or so. I think it has problems with CPU Load.
My CPU and the entire system is brand new and works just fine the the old CAM.
I'm using the older version again now because of that.
I recently upgraded my GPU to a 2080ti and upgraded CAM a few days later.
The current version is s complete disaster when it comes to fan management and surging for both the CUP fans on my X52 and the way it surges/manages the fan on the GPU.
It has taken what was a nice quiet well managed system into a rabid disaster with fan speeds that bounce all over the place.
Can confirm this. I read that "hysteresis" setting which should prevent a rapid change in fan speeds is to be what is "standard" setting now. However i think this feature is either not working or gone.
Its caused by this i think https://support.camwebapp.com/forums/916717-nzxt-cam-preview/suggestions/38016622-cam-4-x-x-x-beta-bug
It has to kick pump, but bad programing kicks fans. Have same issue u mentioned
