New CAM not as good as the old version.
Looks aside, this new CAM redesign leaves much to be desired. Please bring back the ability to see multiple GPU's on the dashboard and bring back the HUE and cooling options on the dashboard. Having to fish through menus to change HUE/Fan settings is much less intuitive than the previous version. Honestly wish I never upgraded it.
We are looking into bringing back the quick controls to lighting and cooling on the dashboard. It’ll replace the HDD section. What do you guys think?
@fan.ding Sure, the HDD section is the least valuable, so it could be replaced.
Don't listen to Laurent. Plenty of us like to monitor CPU, GPU, & RAM usage.

We think it's crap. Just give us sonething to just control the hardware, we don't want any monitoring of non NZXT stuff.
I'm glad I poked my head in here and took a peek and the most recent comments. I was going to install a newer version just to see what might have been fixed but not now. Seems like every release since the original one has slowly gotten worse and worse, instead of incrementally better. Sad, looks like I'll stay on 3.3.21 which is the last version that actually worked right for me.
Also can you make it so the light will sync with asus aura lighting.
@fan.ding yes please do this. I'm really sick of having to go in settings every time I want to change fan speed. it was great when it used to be accessible from the home screen and the mini cam mode. Also no one really cares about hdd info as this is easy to get.
I think it would be a start for sure. I was lucky enough to find the version before the change over and have been running that one. I'll upgrade when New CAM is at least as good/intuitive/works as well as 3.3.5
I think that would be a nice feature. The lighting menu right now looks awful.
The entire layout and colors and just everything was so much better on the old one.

Every update my HUE and Fan controls disappear and my Overclock starts to roast my PC. Not acceptable. How do I get them back this time?
Where can i download the old version?! This was better than this one.. Always shut down.... it sucks
I thought sync mode will join 2 chanel to one chanel and run effect from 1 to end of 2 .. but i'm wrong .
instead of config 2 channel light effect .. now you just open sync and config only once. .. i think that's USELESS :(
I hope 3.6 can upgrade sync mode to allow light effect run from channel 1 to channel 2 and start again instead of work ion separate channel
Here here. WTF was going through your collective minds when coming up with the new design?! It's literally broken compared to the previous version - so much (useful) functionality has disappeared!
CAM UI on 3.5 is awful! Also 3.5 cuts alot of functions ... Where can i get my previous version back?
Why NZXT? commented
Yup, The New UI on 3.5 release. just simply Sucks BIGTIME. the older design/setup was 100x better.
Does NZXT even test there products before they release shit? NZXT seem to be going down hill so much the past 2 years...
Must admit I am really sick of NZXT, someday in my life time they might even product test a CAM update before release.
I am sick of uninstalling, removing registry entries, removingf other crap left over by a poorly implemented uninstaller, reinstalling and repeating the process numerous time to try and find a version of CAM with the least faults.
To date: 9 months to even recognise Kraken X52 and display it in the software after a restart, another month on 3.5.x and not even recognise the Kraken FAN speed which still shows 0. Still; no CAM running on startup, gaming overlays that only GOD knows when it will work. Poor quality USB leads to cause even more detection faults and to top it off, NZXT not even having stock to replace parts in a timely manor.
Sorry its a rant, but I am advising everyone I know to avoid NZXT :(
Does anyone know where the older versions are? This update broke literally everything for me...

The Kraken settings are gone again? We're currently trying to identify/fix an intermittent pump failure on a Kraken x62 and it's critical we can monitor the pump RPM and water temp. Updated thinking this may be related to the pump not starting and now we know even less.
Subjectively, the new CAM app is slow and clunky. No disrespect to the programmers, but it needs a lot of work. Can't resize the window, the app is very slow to transition between pages, and the HUE lighting select is just broken. I spent more on this broken HUE lighting than I did for my GPU water block. You guys are killing me here. Maybe Corsair would have been a better choice.
To be clear, the HUE toggles don't work. The select light colors don't appear in the GUI, and I can't even alter the 2nd HUE+ unit settings. Both HUE selections open the settings for the same HUE unit. Really bad design IMO.

The old UI was soooooo much better. Able to track components by the minute, hour, day and week. Now just instant monitoring. Plus, now I have to use all of my 34' screen to check all of the stats, as there is only mini and full screen. The log-in gave me errors until I changed to password. Even the banner was better. Actually, there is no banner anymore. Just a small pic. The hue plus still does not work properly as well. Stays on unless you turn it off manually every time, and that was broke since the previous update. Does not track games fps anymore either. Please give us back the old cam dash. This one is absolutely garbage.
Agree. Not as good as the old version. I what I hate is that getting the performance setting is not on the top (first panel), it is now buried under edit settings and that is a pain if I want to switch from desktop to playing games. There is also no fixed, silent and performance mode now which I loved. Please make some necessary changes. I don't care about the UI, but more the functionality is different and difficult.
