Beta CAM software release before being pushed to release
Due to the amount of problems people are having with 3.2.04 and the time it takes until fixes are made (almost 3 weeks now) and released. Even a hotfix release would be highly appreciated. This would avoid headaches for general consumers, and those who do not check the forums, as well as highlight potential bugs that shouldn't be making it into release.

We have not fixed the HUE+ issue yet, this patch we were focusing on the Grid+ issues and the other issues in the release notes.
SO, fans are working normally again thanks to 3.2.22, but lighting is still not coming on after resuming from sleep. Great.

I'm having the same issue as everyone else. I bought my Hue+ in August, and it worked perfect till the 3.2.04 update. I have done everything people have suggested. tried several usb cables, different usb ports etc. I even went to my sons house to plug my light strips into his Hue+, and they work on his. I'm pretty sure that it was the firmware update fail that messed up my box. I think there should be a way to manually run the firmware update process when it fails.and the box should also have a reset button to go back to the original firmware in case it gets screwed up.
And I really don't want to hear about how it's the USB cable either. It worked fine before the firmware upgrade, and I've tried different cables with no change. It's not the USB cables, so please stop with the attempts to pass this off as cabling issues. You know, and we know, that it's the software and firmware, and nothing else.
I've been a proponent of both the Grid+ and Hue+, since before they were even released, via my position as a moderator on Tom's Hardware, but honestly, considering all the issues I've had with the last few "updates", and most especially since the firmware upgrade, that position has become extremely tenuous,......at best.
Much like Anonymous Canadian, the last three months have mostly been without use of the Hue+ unit and with my Grid+ controller refusing to run my case fans at any speed lower than 40% when they used to run fine at 20% using the exact same Grid+ unit. I really can't find an excuse for this degree of third rate support on the part of NZXT.
This is a company that has hit on all cylinders elsewhere, offering premium, worthy products, but the problematic software and slow to release fixes are borderline negligent IMO.
You're forced to use the software because NZXT wants all the data CAM is constantly uploading to them for "research." In a perfect world Hues and Grids would have a small bit of memory internally for you to save all your preferences and profiles to, similar to what certain mice have. Open the software, make your changes, never see it again unless you want to adjust something from time to time. Kraken might be different, but there's no reason for CAM to be such a bloated, data sucking, gaudy piece of "gamer software" that it is now.
I would love to see a fix for those of us experiencing disappearing krakens. It looks like a driver/software/firmware issue.

I am seeking a FULL refund on the purchase of this massively faulty hardware and sub par programming. I have had one RMA cause it would not detect after and update. Now after this new update the software is all screwed up, I have no lights...the things I paid for. I do not want to hear anything about 30 days return policy. If I do, this is not a threat, but a promise that my lawyer will be in touch with your company and I will be seeking CLASS ACTION lawsuit. I am so angry I cannot even type, I will consult with NZXT, when I collect my temper.

Yup, my HUE+ is useless now because it wont launch at all. Sometimes it does after a reboot but it randomly stops opening. Very frustrating. I wish the HUE+ didnt rely on this software to turn on...
