Fix Hue+ detection issues and provide a Stand-Alone Hue+ Control UI for download
Please Fix Hue+ detection issues and provide a Stand-Alone Hue+ Control UI for download.
It would be useful to have a stand-alone module to control Hue+ in order to eliminate the need for the CAM interface to the hardware in situations where users already run other software for OC and tweeking. It should also have a "refresh and detect hardware" button/option built in so that Hue+ devices could be scanned for on the PC and a connection could be re-established. CAM only shows the Hue+ when the software detects the device, and so there is no way to scan for the device once launched if it does not already appear.
I have to disconnect and reconnect my Hue+ from USB (on the mobo) every time my computer starts, restarts or wakes from sleep in order for it to be polled correctly and then appear in CAM. (I have gone through all the , install, uninstall, reinstall, driver uninstall and reinstall, header change, external USB connection support forum recommendations and the issue persists). IMO It would also be extremely beneficial for NZXT to correct the Hue+ detection issues experienced by multiple users.
I am among many that are disappointed with the product's hardware drivers, detection, and interface performance based on the price of the device.

Not entirely sure about Stand-alone Hue GUI, but Hue+ detection on boot must be fixed !
Six months later, Updates killed Hue+ detection, CAM software buggy, and losing hope. Please create a stand alone Hue+ manager. I could have paid much less for four white led strips.
Yes I would like to see this too. I dont like the cam software and would rather stay with MSI or EVGA for that matter. Especially now since I have to start CAM each time no matter how I turn off the computer. Start CAM, wait for it, close CAM, start MSI and reapply the profile since CAM always resets it every time. No, dont like it at all.
