3.6.2 update and Custom fan profile, pulling my hair out with fanspeed being locked at 100% AT ONLY 55c and no way of altering.
What on earth is wrong with the latest update and the custom fan profile?? The idea of custom means it's totally custom. Even the hotfix that was pushed out on 20'07/2018 (today) has not fixed this issue. Why can I not lower than fan speed from the locked 100% at 55c?? this is driving me insane, I dont want a damn 747 jumbo jet sitting next to me hovering when my cpu temp is at a low of 55c. You should only need 100% fan speed if the CPU gets to around 85c not 55c.
Come on, test this software before you send it out, the CAM software is terrible, has always been terrible which is a shame because the X62 Kraken is a great AIO cooler.
But please for the love of god, make the custom fan profile mean truly custom. Do not lock is fan speed to 100% with no way of lowering it.
Hello, please try the latest update, version 3.6.6. We have made many improvements with that version and it is working more smoothly. Let us know if this issue is still happening to you after updating. Sorry for the previous inconveniences, and thank you for your help.
I have the same problem.... Temp 37c - Load 9% - Fan Speed - MAX 100% 1874rpm
If you've installed Version 3.6.6 just uninstall it and Google CAM_Installer V3.5.90 Download. Some kind chap on Reddit has supplied a link for it. (or use the link below) It takes a few tries to get it up and running. (A few restarts etc Didn't it always?) but I'd rather that, than this piece of junk that's just been released as of 3.6.6
Still having fans stuck at 100% after update :(
Still not fixed, custom fan profile still not allowing me to lower the fixed 100% fan speed at 60c.
Same problem, after update….VERY, VERY NOISY !!
My old air cooled heat sink was much better
I had a similar issue where my existing fan profiles were completely inconsistent and had reverted to basing fan speeds off cpu/GPU temp instead of water temp.
NOTHING I did to that fan profile would fix the problem until I deleted the profile and made a new one. There was something inherently broken about my existing profiles.
Anyways it's fixed now, but Yeh cam software clearly receives no testing before pushing an update

Hi, i have the same problem after upgrade CAM to 3.6.2 or 3
WTF guys, also, if i rollback to the 3.5.3 i cant log in.
Really fix this, is too disappointing.
My fans now randomly go to 100% which is amazing.... why is CAM continually garbage
Same here with 3.6.3
have the same issuse with 3.6.2 and 3.6.3
Tried uninstalling and reinstalling several times, still no good. There is no way to lower the 100% fan speed fixed at 60c using the custom fan profile.
I've recorded the issue here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CjkNEd7J7yI&feature=youtu.be
