That is not OFFLINE mode, GUEST mode shouldn't be broadcasting. Please resolve it.

The log I have has over 10,000 intrusion attempts made by CAM alone. I will not unblock the software as it absolutely does not need network access to your servers.

The issue is not solved or completed as you claim it to be.

        Has anyone checked if its meets GDPR Regulations (EU Specific)?

        The most serious violations could result in fines of up to €20 million or 4 per cent of turnover (whichever is greater). ... Happy to put a request in if someone can show its does not meet GDPR ...

        Wouldn't have known.

        NZXT seems like it's employed and managed by trash.

        Thanks for the heads up.

        I found this site while researching a cooling solution for a new workstation that I'm building... I just wanted to voice my concern. NZXT is full of crackheads. There is no way I would purchase anything from this trash company.

        If my underage son downloads and installs this application and NZXT collects my data, then I have the right to sue in the court of law and seek damages. I never agreed to such verbiage, nor is my underage son liable for any statements claimed in your TOS/EULA. NZXT is in shit creek without a paddle.

        Yes. For those who are concerned... you are right. You have a legal right to privacy! For many of you ignorant children (also manboys) fanboying NZXT and claiming how NZXT has the right. You are dead wrong. Grow up! The Civil Rights and Constitutional Rights of every American citizen ought to be taken very seriously... but in this modern age... too many uneducated fools talk trash to make a buck.

        The United States 4th Amendment is being violated by many businesses these days. Mostly because these businesses don't know jack about conservative values, since most businesses in the Technology sector are being run by foreign trash.

        It is a fact that both United States Civil Rights and our Constitutional Rights are being trampled over by Corporations and other businesses, who have no right... even if expressed in a TOS/EULA...

        Over two decades ago not a single business would be caught dead doing any of this sleazy crap....

        You know those signs that use to read: "Private Property, Trespassers will be prosecuted." , Well on my land it reads: "Private Property, Trespassers will be shot!" I have the legal right to do so... especially if poachers come around.

        @NZXT - Yep, according to GDPR you're screwed if you want to sell your products within the EU after today. Do you *really* want to lose 4% of your TURNOVER (which could be your whole net profit in some businesses)?
        You're just waiting for one person. Just ONE PERSON, to initiate legal proceedings now, it will be a slam-dunk.

        Assuming data collection is still happening;

        It will be a laugh when NZXT is checked to see what data it acquires and for what purposes it uses that data from customers in the EU.

        https://www.eugdpr.org/gdpr-faqs.html

        From several Bug Incidents and Ideas requests, I don't believe I have ever seen a explanation.

        I personally have restricted CAM by firewall rules.

        @You're an idiot ...

        I agree with the OP post. You're clearly the idiot and for that matter a total nutjob.

        You might be the most ignorant person I've ever seen write a comment. You very clearly have little to no understanding of privacy laws and you should stop soap-boxing about subjects that you have no background in. None of the points you brought up are legally obligated to you and none of your solutions are viable nor appropriate.

        The actual solution to any of this to completely opt-out and simply don't use their service. That's entirely viable and available to you at any time.

        "But they want to live from something..
        ever thought about that before installing software?"

        The customers data is PRIVATE. The customer NEVER provided NZXT any right to collect said data... EVER.

        If they want to live from something, as you say, then they can earn it like everyone else and not steal private data. Collecting customers personal data is not earning.
