Kraken X62 not regonized on boot/wake
I notice you immediately removed the 500+ long thread regarding the CAM/Kraken recognition issues. That was a little premature.
CAM 3.3.4 - Does not recognize my X62, no matter how many times I remove the USB and disconnect power. 0 for 11. No version of CAM was ever this bad. I have no RGB lighting software running at this time and I disabled all non-OS essential applications from the start-up menu.
Asus X99 Strix - 5930K
32GB Corsair Dominator 3200MHz
No bloatware installed.
I have rolled back to 3.3.2 that recognizes the Kraken 95%+ of the time, with or without Aura installed. I am not entirely sure why you would wipe that thread out 5 minutes after releasing 3.3.4, but either you did not find the fix or have introduced new problems. No version of CAM has every completely failed to recognize the X62 before.
Hi there, this post is now close as it is involving an older version of CAM. If you still have this issue with our newest update please post a new thread. Thanks for the support!

A new version of CAM has been released (version 3.6.0) where several of the currently known bugs have been taken care of. Please go to https://camwebapp.com/download to download it and verify if this fixes the issues you are experiencing.
Before installing, please fully uninstall the previous version of CAM, then delete the folder from C drive >> Program Files >> NTXT, and restart the computer before installing this one.
If your issues continue to occur, please inform us. Thank you, and sorry for the inconveniences.
Same happening to me. They still haven't fixed it. What a shame. The fix everyone reports here works but it resets randomly on other days...you have to keep going to device manager doing the same workaround. We are now in 2018 and 68 comments later...still not perma fixed. Shameful
i have kraken x62 for 2 weeks now, worked perfectly on the first week... now it's just white led light that can't be detected by the latest cam software.... i regret not checking the reviews before buying this $150 product.. i'm surprised that this issue has been going on since july 2017 :(

Hello all, here are the troubleshooting tips available. I'd mainly recommend the testing of a new cable, since sometimes the cables can break or be faulty.
If you are using a Kraken X42/X52/X62/X72 and CAM is not detecting the device. You can try these troubleshooting steps.
Please go to the Devices Page and select “Detect Devices”
Please exit out of CAM and install this Kraken driver https://www.dropbox.com/s/ktdih3rifenohk4/Kraken%20chip%20Driver.zip?dl=0 then restart your PC and see if CAM detects the Kraken
Go into Control Panel and click on "View Devices and Printers" then remove the NZXT USB Device/Unknown USB Device and restart your PC. Then check CAM again.
If you still see a Unknown USB Device, then it seems that the USB cable is creating a bad connection to the motherboard. You can try using a different USB cable to check and see if the USB cable that came with the package is faulty. You can use a mini to regular USB cable and route it to the back of your case to test this issue. If the cable is the issue, please contact our support team over at https://www.nzxt.com/customer-support to look for a replacement USB cable.
Try shutting off your PC, then plug the USB cable to a different USB header on your motherboard
This is to check if the USB port on the motherboard is working correctly.
If you have any of the following programs below, they can come into conflict with CAM :
Precision X, Gigabyte Xtreme Gaming, RGB Fusion, Asus Aura, MSI Mystic, Afterburner, Corsair Link. We will be working in future versions to improve compatibility between the different software programs.
Try turning off your PC and turn off your PSU for 10 seconds, then turn your PSU and PC back on and check CAM again
Try connecting the Kraken to a different PC/Laptop and see if it is detected in CAM. You only need to connect a external mini USB cable and see if CAM detects the unit. If it is still not detected then it is a faulty unit and we can RMA it. Please contact our support team over at https://www.nzxt.com/customer-support to look for a replacement unit.
If you are experiencing abnormally high temperature while using our cooler you may want to check if the pump is still operating correctly. To do so, please check and see if the pump cable is connected to the CPU_Fan header on your motherboard. Then check CAM and look inside the Kraken section and see what the pump RPM is reporting. If it is reporting 0 then it is a dead pump. Please contact our support team over at https://www.nzxt.com/customer-support to look for a replacement unit.

Sooooo this issue is still on going.
I have the Kraken x72 and CAM found it on first in stall but nothing since.
Unable to have it recognised since. Countless uninstalls/re-installs and it still wont recognise the kraken.
Aorus Gaming 7
16gb trident z 3200
Same issue here.
Kraken x52 not showing up on CAM.
Kraken connected via NZXT internal USB hub.
Intel i7 6700k (Kraken Cooled)
Zotac 980ti (AIO Cooled)
32gb G-Skill 3200
I've tried uninstalling all software that might conflict with CAM while trying almost any version of CAM I could find. I even went as far as formatting my PC. Nothing has worked. Just a plain white light on the pump unit.
I've read through pages upon pages of forum complaining about the same issue that go back to over a year and I still haven't found a solution that works.
Any help is appreciated.
Still having the same issue even after NZXT sent out new cables and I switched them awful service and awful customer support the main reason I say this is because so many people have this problem but they have done nothing about it
Facing the same issue. Please help!!
I'm having issues with my nzxt cam software. Cam does not see my kraken..Is there a fix for this?
